In February 2023 TON opened a new position called Sustainability Engineer. The priorities are green energy, electromobility, the ecological utilization of rainwater and grey water, transition of current thermal energy to another source which is planned to be completed by 2030. By implementing rooftop photovoltaic panels and electromobility while working on startups of new heat pumps and water saving mechanisms, TON’s efforts towards responsible and sustainable production are evident. Beyond renewable energy their startup Ci2 plants trees in their surroundings. TON is a ISO14001 certified manufacture, which produces within the framework of an environmental management system. Environmental impact is therefore measured and constantly improved.
