In order to build a relationship with products, the stories connected to them help - memories of previous owners from the family, the specific place where we got the product or past experiences. A sled is probably part of childhood memories in all countries where snow falls - like 'Rosebud' for Orson Welles' Citizen Kane.
This project picks those memories up, and creates a wardrobe from them. The sledge runners come from the Johler Schneckenrodel production. A curved raw element with a width of 75mm was split into three coatrack elements and provided with incisions for hanging clothes or bags. The eight runners are held together by rings made of curved round steel.
