The idea behind the Mela chair was to create a piece that has a distinctive character, combining the typology of the classic chair with an upholstered shell (seat and backrest) with the poetic beauty of a wooden chair. The mid-century inspired wooden structure embraces the upholstered backrest, creating a perfect symbiosis of the contrasting elements.
The collection consists of an armchair, lounge chair, bar chair and sofa, which comes in different sizes. The Mela collection is available in 6 different types of wood (oak, walnut, maple, elm, cherry, and pear), with various natural finishes (oils and soaps) upholstered with a range of leathers or fabrics.
