At Stillfried Design, we curate furniture, lighting, and accessories crafted with exceptional care by independent European studios. We want every piece you select to feel right in your home or project. If something doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re here to help.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges on eligible in-stock items within 14 days of delivery. To qualify, pieces must be:

In unused, undamaged condition

In their original packaging, including all accessories and hardware

Returned with the original receipt or proof of purchase
Please note that we are unable to accept returns on items that show signs of wear, installation, or alteration.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Because many of our pieces are produced in small batches or made to order by our European partners, the following categories are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

Made-to-order or custom pieces

Special-order items not stocked in our US inventory

Furniture produced in customer-selected finishes or configurations

Lighting that has been installed or wired

Sale or promotional items

Return Shipping & Fees
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. For furniture and larger pieces, return freight may vary based on size, weight, and location. We can help arrange insured return transportation upon request.
A restocking fee may apply for certain items, depending on the brand and product category.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide clear photographs of the packaging and the item so we can resolve the issue promptly with our makers and shipping partners. In these cases, Stillfried Design will cover all return or replacement costs.

Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original method of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing.
