Barro is a range of unique and high-quality ceramics, manufactured for ames according to traditional pottery crafts in a small, family-run manufacturer located in the Colombian province of Tolima. The ceramics are created entirely by hand. For his designs, Sebastian Herkner has taken inspiration in particular from the archetypal forms of exhibits shown in the "Museo del Oro", in Bogotá. The result is a range of vases, bowls, and pots that can also be used as plant containers.

The Barro objects are heatproof and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The products of the »ames sala« collection are mostly made from natural materials and produced in small, traditional manufactories. as each object is unique, there may be slight variations in size and color.
