»Hama« is a chair with an unusual shape, made from bent pipes and sheets and inspired by the many proprietary designs for chairs and stools Mark Braun discovered on a trip to the Middle East. The designer’s objective was to capture the essence of the distinctive aesthetics and figurative typology of bent lines and edged sheets – without compromising on key standards such as optimum seating comfort, stackability and durability. The results were »Hama high« and »Hama low« – a chair as well as a slightly wider lounge chair that will stand out in both residential and commercial spaces, be it inside or outdoors. Since »Hama« is made from stainless steel, it is weather resistant and can easily be left in the garden or on the patio for longer periods of time.
