The tabletop and sides are each made of seven solid wood boards 1 5/8" thick. Two supporting beams set back beneath the tabletop provide stability. The clearance underneath the beams is 24", leaving ample legroom. The corner joints offer a distinctive e15 design detail, where the top is milled to half of its thickness at the ends which the sides then fit into. The TA01 PONTE is especially suitable as a working or conference table.
