The Ruana throws are produced in Colombia on horizontal looms, using traditional craft techniques. The name for this exclusive line of throws is derived from traditional Colombian clothing. The blankets feature a houndstooth pattern (gallineto) and fringe (gallineto) and fringes and are available in a cosy woollen design and as a lightweight cotton throw. The dyes for the wool are predominantly derived from natural materials such as plants and seeds, and each thread is manually fed into loom.

The ruana throws are available in three different colourways: yellow-grey-blue, blue-black-yellow, and ochre-green-rose
