The Mikkel series was launched at the ICFF in New York back in 2015 and was awarded best textile at the ICFF editors awards. The motif combines a geometric pattern inspired by the Bauhaus movement and Norwegian weaving traditions with a modern and contemporary use of colors.

Røros Tweed uses Norwegian sheep wool and the entire value chain in the production of woolen plaids, wool blankets and pillows remains in Norway in the original factories.
