Right in time for the "Decade of the Ocean", which the United Nations proclaimed, High Seas opens our eyes to the beauty and sensitivity to the finite expanses of the Oceans. Mermaids as a personification of this mysterious organism, beautiful and dangerous animals and plants, an oil rig, and a human are featured. If you look close enough, you will find an anchor as a symbol of hope.
Almost 400 years ago, French philosopher Blaise Pascal said „The least movement is of importance to all nature. The entire ocean is affected by a pebble.“ So let’s make sure we don’t let the ocean become acidic, or angry at us, the designer says. In German, the word "sauer" means both acidic and angry. Each color of the Alpha series features its corresponding hand-painted drawing, for the pitcher we selected blue.
