Ames La Che Baskets

Manufacturer Ames
Designer Sebastian Herkner

Three new baskets join the La Che series of woven side tables and trays, designed by Sebastian Herkner. They are made by hand in Boyacá, an Andes region, using an elaborate technique that was originally developed by the indigenous Laches people. The production of each basket takes three to four weeks. They are made 100 percent with fibers that come from dried Fique leaves, an Agave plant.
The baskets are available in three sizes and four colors.
