The Embassy Series

This precious little fixture was designed by Ceno Kosak in 1966 for the Austrian embassy in London. There it adorned the public areas of the Regency building almost 50 years.
Designed in the same year as the famous Metropolitan chandeliers the Embassy series features two distinctive elements from that project.
The main belt at the centre picks up on the geometric pattern of rectangular crystals inspired by the Met Opera‘s wall sconces.
