By bringing contemporary international designers together with Colombia’s traditional craft techniques, ames creates vibrant furniture and lifestyle collections that bring character and energy to contemporary interiors.

All ames products are developed and manufactured in close collaboration with local artisans across Colombia. The exceptional skill, knowledge, and care of the artesanos and artesanas are at the heart of each piece, ensuring outstanding quality and authenticity. Production takes place in small, often family-run ateliers, where craftsmanship is passed down through generations and every object is made by hand. Materials are largely sourced locally, with a strong focus on responsible production — for example, the PVC cords used in ames furniture are made from recycled plastic.
