The BASIL table is based on a simple, almost archaic construction principle of three planes. The undeniably generic form is functionally and serially formulated in detail. The format is based on established parameters, seating requirements, and compatibility. The table is solely made from coated fiberboard and demountable into three parts, therefore economical to transport. Uniform use of color and material give BASIL a sculptural appearance.
